Edie Lawrence is a versatile artist and director based in Bristol, UK. After studying Animation at the Royal College of Art, specializing in stop motion, Edie began crafting intricate miniature worlds that have since evolved into large-scale sets and props for a wide range of music videos, theatrical productions, and editorial collaborations.
Her personal work draws profound inspiration from the natural world, which has led to descriptions of her creations as darkly captivating, often grotesque, and sometimes unsettling. These elements reflect her unique ability to explore the more bizarre and macabre aspects of life through art.
Last year, Edie finished her first short claymation film ‘Autophagy’, which is currently screening at various film festival premieres universally. It’s due for release later this year.
